Former US President Donald Trump leaves no stone unturned to win the general public's favor and attention. While attending the Libertarian National Convention, Trump made pro-Bitcoin comments to ace the electoral campaigns.

In a video shared online, Trump vowed to foster the cryptocurrency vertical with dedicated support if he's elected as the president of the US. He further shared how he will work towards making the US the center of cryptocurrency activity.

Pro-Bitcoin Stance

While attending the Libertarian National Convention, Donald spoke about various issues. The former president shared a few topics he would work on if elected again.

However, Trump's comments on BTC caught the most attention. He shared how he would make the US a nucleus of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. Trump later added that he would help the sector flourish by supporting the general right to self-custody.

"I am very positive and open-minded about cryptocurrency companies and everything related to this new and burgeoning industry. Our country must be the leader in the field. There is no second place for this development," Trump later shared.

Targeting Political Rivals

Targeting Biden's anti-crypto stance and trajectory, Trump shared that he would forge new ideas to combat Biden's crusade to demolish crypto. At the same time, the former US president took a direct jibe at Senator Elizabeth Warren, adding that he would stop Warren from impacting the sector altogether.

"Crypto and the future of bitcoin will be made in the USA; I will support the right of self-custody for the nation's 50 million crypto owners; I will keep Elizabeth Warren away from bitcoin; I will never allow CBDC; and I will also stop Joe Biden's crusade to crush crypto."

Pledging Support for Crypto Community

Trump's comments have created a buzz in the crypto community. Many crypto enthusiasts praised the former president's pledge to support the right to crypto self-custody.

Trump said he would ensure that the United States becomes the global leader in crypto. Trump's crypto stance contrasts with President Joe Biden's crypto approach.
