Terraform will pay disgorgement fines amounting to approximately $3.6B, a civil penalty of $420M, and prejudgement interest of nearly $467M
A United States district court judge has approved a $4.5 billion settlement between Terraform Labs, its founder Do Kwon, and the SEC. The deal includes fines and penalties, effectively banning Terraform and Kwon from the crypto industry. Kwon is currently in custody in Montenegro.
